Description

The first step to identifying and displaying crime and/or crash hot spots is preparing your data. ArcGIS Pro is a Geographic Information System (GIS) software that includes various tools to use in the identification and evaluation of hot spots. The software will react to and act upon whatever data is provided, with no assurance of accuracy or validity. This session will focus on data preparation and appropriate hot spot settings.

Objectives:

1. Learn how to evaluate and prepare data for hot spot analysis.

2. Learn various techniques to improve addresses and other datasets.

3. Conduct preliminary analysis to anticipate hot spot locations and hot spot intensity.
